What are the Four Main Islands of Japan?

Japan consists of four main islands, namely Honshu, Shikoku, Kyushu and Hokkaido. The largest is Honshu which is about 87,800 square miles and about 80% of Japanese live there. Hokkaido is in the northern part while Kyushu is in southern Japan and is densely populated with about 11% of Japanese people living there. For more information see here:
