What are Story Elements?

A story usually has these story elements: The setting element is where the story takes place. A plot element is a series of events that occur in the story. The plot will have a beginning, middle, and end. The conflict element is either internal or external. If you have no conflict, you have no plot. The character element is the person in the story. The point of view element is what view the story was written from such as; first person. The theme element is the hidden meaning of the whole story.
