What are Proxies?

A proxy can be used to express how you want to vote for something when you are unable to attend the meeting in person. Examples of the use of a proxy would be for an annual stock holders meeting. You can send in your vote in advance so that the board knows how you want to vote. A proxy can also give someone else to act on your behalf in placing a vote. An example could be the same as above or it could be for a condo board meeting.
