Types of Wireless Networks?

There are two main types of wireless networks for your computer – security-enabled and non-security-enabled. Security-enabled networks are those that typically use a password in order to access and utilize the network. Most people use it, as they don’t want neighbors, neighboring businesses, etc. to scam off of their network connection for free. Non-security-enabled networks do not use a password, and can be connected to by any computer that has wireless capabilities.
