Types of Larceny?

There are two main types of larceny: trespassing and asportation. Larceny is the taking of property with the express purpose of not giving it back to its owner. The trespass is when one commits unlawful interference with another person’s property or rights. One commits asportation when they transport the property to another location away from it original owner, and without the owner’s consent. If property is taken without the owner’s consent, then larceny has occurred. For more information see here:
