Types of Diffusion?

There are a couple of types of diffusion within the field of biology. ATP is one type of diffusion. This type of diffusion does not require energy at all. Passive diffusion is another type of diffusion in biology. This type of diffusion runs from a high to a low gradient directly via the cell membrane. The third type of diffusion in biology is falicitated diffusion. This type of diffusion runs from a high to low gradien across a cell’s membrane, but has the help of a protein to do so.
