There are many types of Christian fasting. There is water fasting, where a person only drinks water for a specified amount of time. There’s liquid fasting, where a person may have vegetable or fruit juice, water and even broth. There’s meat fasting, where a person abstains from all meat, ie; pork, chicken and beef. And there’s a Daniel Fast, where a person basically eats just vegetables and water (like Daniel did in the bible). Some people do variations of all of the above, but these are a few of the more popular ones.
