Parts of the Ear?

To hear or not to hear, that is the quesiton. The outside cartilidge is called the pinna and the tube going into your ear is called the auditory canal then there is the ear drum (timpanic membrane) and the the ossicles, the hammer, anvil and stirrup then there is the cochlea which looks like a shell and inside that is fluid and tiny hairs which vibrate when you hear and then the auditory nerve sends the message to your brain. there is also a semi-circular canal which is connected to your mouth and helps you keep your balance.
