No Child Left Behind?

The NCLB Act (no child left behind) was a well-intentioned way to assure that disadvantaged, at-risk elementary children would receive extra help in attention and resource to help them be successful. Problem is: With more emphasis and resources being put on the disadvantage, the average children have now been left behind- some of them even falling far enough behind to be the New Disadvantaged.
