How to Write Cover Letter for Resume?

It is standard practice for a job seeker to write a cover letter and then use the same cover letter for submitting his resume to different opportunities. Rule number one, customize your cover letter for the specific job opportunity, whenever possible. Whether you are responding to a print or online job posting, you want your cover letter to clearly state the job that you are applying for, where you saw the ad and most importantly, what qualifications you have that are a match. You want to let them know how to reach you. Your cover letter does not need to be long, it should be to the point and gives the person reviewing the resumes a reason (the WOW factor) to stop and take a look at your resume.
