How to Write An Official Letter?

To write an official or formal letter you must have all the sections in the right locations. There are 7 major sections. First, your name and address should be typed in the top right hand corner. Then, on the left side, you type the name and address of the recipient. The recipients name should start below yours. Leave 2 to 4 spaces and write your greeting. The body or content of the letter should come next followed by a ‘Sincerely’ or ‘Thank You’ to end the letter. After the sign off, you should leave 4 to 6 spaces and then type your name. After printing, use the space between the sign off and your typed name to sign your name in ink.
