How to Write a Lab Report?

The purpose of a lab report is to decide how well you performed your experiement. The format of your report should include an introduction which will state the purpose of your experiment. You should also include methods and materials used. Write down all the supplies you used and was process to complete your experiment. You should have a results section including charts, tables and graphs. Anything that will illustrate the process used and your results. Your report should also contain a discussion and conclusion section. Summairize what happened and interpret your results. What did you learn and was your hypothesis correct and the reason why it did or didn’t work. The citation section is where you would include any references you used, such as any books, articles are manuals you may have used to complete your experiment. Include the names of the authors, year of publication, titles, which edition if more than one, place where it was published and the publishers name.
