To tie a half windsor knot, extend the wide end of the tie about 12 inches down (on the right side) from the narrow end (on the left side). Then, take the wide end across the narrow end. Next, bring the wide end behind and around the narrow end. Bring the wide end up towards the ceilings, and send it through (back down) the loop at the neck. Now, bring the wide end across the narrow end from right to left, and send it up through the loop at the neck. Then, send the wide end through the knot that you’ve created and tighten.
