Merlot is best served at about 60 degrees Farhrenheit. To get it to that perfect temperature, you can chill it in an ice bucket for about 15 minutes. Or you can chill it in the refrigerator for a couple of hours. If you find that it is too cold for your taste, you can pour it in a glass and let it sit out for about 10 or 15 minutes. Cupping your hands around the glass itself will also help warm it up.
