The price lets you know how much it costs to own one share of that particular stock. The high and low prices let you know how much demand there was for that stock on that day and in some cases for that year. Dividends let you know how much that company will pay out of the profits they make. It is usually advantageous to find good quality stocks that pay out high dividends. And the Price-Earnings Ratio is the price of that stock relative to its value.
