How to Prepare Quinoa?

Quinoa (pronounced keen-wa) is the only grain that is a complete protein. It is easily prepared, similar to rice and flavored as you like. I prefer to braise quinoa, by steaming as I would rice. When the liquid is gone I add onions, mushrooms, herbs, red wine and tamari with a little olive oil and toss in the pan until it starts to sizzle. Yum!
