There are two methods to network a printer. If the printer is a network printer, then simply connect the network cable to the router. However if the printer is not, then you have configure it as a shared printer. The printer will usually be attached directly to one printer via a parallel or usb cable. For all other computers, the printer must be setup as a network or shared printer. Go add printers, select network or shared, the system will search for the printer, once it is found, select it as the default printer. If there are more computers on the network, repeat for each computer. There is one last method and that is to create a print server. A print server is a computer through which all other computers access to print. The setup is similar to the shared printer, except you can assign a network drive for all the print server.
