The recipe I use takes tator tots, cheese, onions, sour cream, and bacon. Layer the tator tots in a baking dish and cover with sour cream. Cook the bacon until it is crispy. Crumble the bacon on top of the sour cream. Saute the onions in the bacon fat and then add them on top of the bacon. Cover the entire dish in a thick layer of shredded cheese (any kind you like) and put into a 350 degree oven for about 30 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
