How to Make Suet?

You make suet by melting fat down into a pourable consistency, then adding whichever ingredients is needed. If you use lard or shortening, add equal parts of peanut butter and flour to maintain consistency. You can then add bird seed, raisins, unsalted nuts, rolled oats, cornmeal or whatever else you think the birds will enjoy. Pour mixture into your mold and allow to cool. You can keep unused portions in the freezer, but use within 2 months.You can find more information here:
