For the spiciest, juiciest catsupy meat loaf, preheat oven to 375 degrees F., and mix well 1 lb. ground meat with 2 eggs, 1/2 c. regular rolled oats, 1/2 c. applesauce, 2 tsp. salt, 1/2 tsp. black pepper, and 1/2 tsp. allspice. Place the meat mixture in a loaf pan, then bake for 40 minutes or so. Meat loaf should be practically done, so remove it and score it across the top several times. Pour 1/4 to 1/2 c. catsup across the top and replace in oven for addition 15-20 minutes until top is lightly crusted with the spicy catsup. Remove and let stand until it can be removed from pan without crumbling. Bon App’tit!
