There are many good salsa recipes and I think once you try your own you’ll never buy that stuff in a jar again. In a food processor combine 1/4 cup onion, roughly chopped, four teaspoons jalapenos (for milder salsa leave out the seeds and ribs), two 14.5 ounce cans of tomatoes (with juice), 3/4 teaspoon garlic salt, 1/4 teaspoon sugar and 1/2 teaspoon cumin. Process until the salsa has the consistency you desire. The fresh taste of this salsa is delicious and tastes much better after a few hours or overnight in the refrigerator. Pass the chips!
