When I bake bread i always have to make sure that I make double the quantity needed as one loaf vanishes even before it reaches the dinner table. Take 700gms (gives 2 loaves) of whole wheat flour, warm the flour in the oven for 10 minutes. Then sift 1 tsp of salt, 1 tsp of dry yeast and 1 tsp of castor sugar, blend all this with some warm water kneading softly into a dough for around 10 minutes. Set the dough aside for 30 minutes in a warm place so it doubles itself. Knead the dough again for 5 minutes so the air can pass out. Now take 2 tins oil them, divide the dough into 2 portions and place in the tin and cover and keep aside for another 15 minutes. Turn the oven on 230 degrees, place the bread tin’s to bake for 40 minutes, when done turn the bread out and let it cool for 10 minutes before serving.
