First the ingredients is: 1 lb fettucine, 1/2 cup butter, 2 cloves garlic (chopped), 2 1/2 cup light cream or half and half, 1 1/2 grated parmesan cheese, 1/2 teaspoon pepper and a pinch of salt.Bring 4 quarts of water to a boil (add a pinch of salt to the water) Cook uncovered for 10-12 minutes; drain – cover and set aside.In a large skillet, melt butter. Saute chopped garlic over medium for one minute. Stir in 1 1/2 cups of cream or half and half. Cook over medium for 3-4 minutes. Stir once in a while. When hot, stir in fettucine. Add remaining cream, parmesan cheese, salt and pepper. Stir to mix.
