Chow mein noodles need to first be cooked in water and then fried until they are crispy in order to taste right. Other ingreients for chow mein include one pound of ground beef, two stalks of chopped celery, one half cupof slivered almonds, one half cup of water, one can of condensed cream of chicken soup, three tablespoons of soy sauce. First cook the noodles as directed above. Next, brown the ground beef and vegetables in a pan and preheat your oven to three hundred and fifty degrees while you are cooking the noodles and the beef. Next, in a seperate bowl, combine the soup, soy sauce and water and mix together well. Then add this liquid mixture to the beef and vegetables. Mix in the noodles, and then pour into a well greased baking dish and bake this in the oven for twenty minutes.
