How to Make Candied Pecans?

You can enjoy candied pecans by making them in just a few simple steps. First you have to crack the pecans and be sure to remove any of the brown material covering the nut. Pre heat your oven at a low temperature of 225 degrees. Take and egg and separate. Add the egg white to a teaspoon of cold water, this will make egg wash. Take the pecans and cover them with the egg wash mixture. In a bowl combine 1/2 tsp salt, 1 tsp cinnamon, and 1 cup sugar stir in the pecans. Take a cookie sheet and make one layer with the pecans, put in the over and let them bake for about 45 minutes. Make sure to stir them around ever so often.
