To make butter cream frosting take 1/3 cup of butter and beat with a mixer until nice and fluffy. Add to the butter 2 cups of powdered sugar, mix well. Add 1/4 cup of milk and 1 1/2 teaspoons vanilla. Once this is mixed well, add another 2 1/2 cups of powdered sugar, making sure all the lumps are out and it is smooth. You may need to add a little more milk until it is the consistency you desire.
