The best thing you can do to get rid of a migraine is to go into a dark room and if at all possible, try to take a nap. The combination of the dark and the rest usually help. I get migraines frequently that are stress related and I get so sensitive to light and sound that locking myself in my bedroom with the blankets over my head is about the only thing I can do. Mine get so bad sometimes that I have to take vicodin in order to dull the pain enough to cope with it. I’m so sorry you have migraines…They are awful!!
