Since the age of a Pepsi bottle cannot be found on the bottle itself you will have to do some investigating. Here are a few tips that may help: 1. If it says ‘Pepsi Cola’ it was made before 1953 (after that they just labeled it ‘Pepsi’). 2. Reproduction bottles have a paper label vs. antique bottle’s labels which are blown directly into the glass. 3. True antique Pepsi bottles are made out of a very dark glass. 4. The necks on true antique Pepsi bottles are small than bottles made today. 6. If it is a ‘Diet Pepsi’ bottle it was made after 1983 since Diet Pepsi was not introduced into the market until 1983.
