To cook wild rice you are first going to want to place a sauce pan on a medium set burner. You are then going to take about two teaspoons of butter per cup of rice you are cooking and let it melt. Next take the raw rice and let it cook in the butter till it reaches a golden brown. You then slowly add one cup or water per cup of rice, to the mixture. Bring the mixture to a boil then cover and set to low heat for about 20 minutes.
