Quail is very versatile, just like chicken. You can fry it in a pan with a little oil or cook it in a crock pot with beans. My favorite way to prepare it is by baking it in the oven. Season the quail any way you like, throw it in a pan with chopped potatoes, onions, and carrots, and cover the pan with foil. Bake the dish for 45 minutes at 350 degrees and when it comes out of the oven, the quail meat is so juicy and tender that it falls off the bone.
