To cook beans we need- 1 can of beans, 1 chopped onion, 1 chopped tomato, 1 tbsp oil, a pinch of red chilly powder and some fresh cilantro. In a pan add oil then add onions. Saute onion till they are almost pink, then add the tomato, salt and red chilly powder. Once the tomato is soft add the beans (drain half of the water) and let it cook for 15 minutes. Garnish with cilantro and serve with fresh pita bread.
