How to Cook a Whole Pig?

Roasting a whole pig will take several hours so you need a large fire and a hog rotisserie to tightly truss and tie the pig onto to keep it from falling into the fire and to keep the meat turning. Seasoning is very important, so infusing the meat and/or marinating it before cooking will add wonders to the taste. Throughout the roasting you should baste the pig frequently to give it that carmelized glaze and keep it moist and tender.
