How to Calculate Your High School Gpa?

To get a high school GPA, or grade point average, you must first have a copy of all the classes/grades you received. Now, multiply the total number of A’s you received by 4, the total number of B’s by 3, the number of C’s by 2 and the number of D’s by 1. Add the totals, and divide that number by the total number of grades you started with. For example, if you had 5 A’s (20), 5 B’s (15), 5 C’s (10), and 5 D’s (5), that would be 20 + 15 + 10 + 5 = 50 divided by 20 = 2.5 GPA
