The median is one of the easiest concepts to calculate in statistics. The median is simply the middle number, not to be confused with the mean, which is the average. Simply line the numbers of from least to greatest and cross out one of from one end and then one from another. The number you have left is the median. For example, let’s say you have the numbers 2, 13, 25, 34, 56, 59, and 60. Cross out the 2 and then the 60. Then the 13 and the 59. Then the 25 and the 56. The only number left is 34, so that is your median.
