To avoid razor bumps, be sure you soak the area well first with warm water. Exfoliating the area before hand will help a great deal too. First shave in the same direction as the hair grows. Even trim with scissors first if the hair is long. Then you can pull the skin just a little tight and shave, very gently in the opposite direction. Don’t push into the skin. Rinse well. And apply a moisturizer. You may want to use a shaving gel when you shave to help as well.
