How Snow is Formed?

Snow begins as water condenses into a tiny droplets in the atmosphere. As the droplet grows the cold air freezes this water into an ice crystal. Each crystal has its own shape. If it is below freezing and there is a lot of water in the air. The crystal grows with six branches spaced evenly apart.
