One’s ideal weight will vary depending on his/her body type, sex, genetics, his/her personal comfort level, and possibly other factors. A good rule of thumb is to give your self 100 lbs. for every 5 ft of height for women and 105 lbs. for men. Then, add 4-6 lbs for each inch of height for women and 5-7 lbs for men. Then adjust this figure up or down 10%-20% depending on your body frame and muscle mass.
