How Much does a Lawyer Make in a Year?

Lawyers’ salaries vary greatly and are dependent upon many things. What a lawyer makes annually depends upon the type of law he/she practices, the city and state in which he/she lives, and often how much he/she works. A lawyer’s annual salary can range anywhere from $42,000 to $200,000 or $300,000. Obviously, a younger lawyer will make much less in a year than an older, more experienced lawyer. It also depends on whether or not that lawyer receives bonuses, as not all law firms provide such a benefit.
