There are 365 days in the year, with the exception of a leap year. Leap years which occur every four years contain 366 days. The extra day is added to February, making it February 29th. To find out how many days are left in the year, you can simply subtract the number of days that have passed from either 365 or 366, depending on the year. Many calendars actually carry the number of days past at the bottom of the block for each day of the year.
