How is Soil Created?

Soil is constantly being created all around us. The wind and rain continues to erode the earth’s rocks/minerals which eventually break down into small rock particles that become soil. Everyday there are decaying plants and bodies of other living organisms that are contributing to the soil creation as well. When water and oxygen are added the rock particles and decaying materials are exposed to microbes (a microorganism). These microbes multiply and continue to live by eating, digesting and evacuating contributing vital nutrients into the soil.
