How is Lyme Disease Diagnosed?

A lot of times when you are bitten by a tick that carries lyme disease, a distinct red circle will show up around the bite. This is a good indication that the tick may have been infected with lyme disease. Some earlier signs that you may be able to keep your eyes open for are headaches, joint pain, and being tired. To determine for sure if you have lyme disease, you would have to go to your doctor and have a blood test done to make sure. And if it would come back positive, you would need to be put on medication to take care of the disease.
