How is Lung Cancer Diagnosed?

Lung cancer can be diagnosed through a variety of ways even if you are not exhibiting any symptoms. If your doctor suspects you have lung cancer he will obtain a family history which will also include questions like: do you or have you ever smoked, your occupation, or have you ever been exposed to hazardous substances. There also are medical tests that the doctor can use to help diagnose lung cancer such as: chest x-ray; CT or MRI scans; sputum test; needle aspiration; and bronchoscopy.
