How is Cinnamon Made?

Cinnamon is the dried bark from different kinds of laurel trees in the cinnamomun family. Cassia is the most common tree that we get Cinnamon from and is grown in Vietnam, Central America, Indonesia and China, although true Cinnamon is native to Sri Lanka. It can be ground into a powder and used as a baking spice. When in stick form, it is just long pieces of bark that has been rolled, pressed and dried.You can find more information here:
