How is Christmas Celebrated in Kenya?

In Kenya, as in most of Africa, Christmas is celebrated in the traditional style on December 25, and this is a holiday along with December 26. The Kenyans call Christmas ‘Krismasi’ and decorating churches, stores and homes is a highlight along with shopping and gift exchanges. On Christmas Eve there are carolings and church services and children visit homes to perform and are given gifts of goodies or money.
