How is Christmas Celebrated in England?

Christmas is a time for family celebrations in England and includes not only a holiday on December 25, but also on Boxing Day which is celebrated on December 26. The traditional Christmas decorations include the tree, lights and other ornaments and they are usually taken down no later than January 6, after which time it is believed that it will cause bad luck. Of course there is the festive dinner with roast turkey and delicious puddings being the highlight and this is served on Christmas Day.
