How does Radioactive Dating Work?

Radioactive dating uses naturally occurring radioisotope carbon-14 to attempt to date materials that contain carbon. The problem with radioactive dating is that the appearance of radioactive decay implies nothing about when it happened. This leads to circular dating. The Evolutionists states that the rocks are old because the carbon says they are, but we don’t really know how old the carbon is so we look at the rock layers and ascribe a date…and on and on.
