Pollination can work in a few different ways. The male part of a plant is the one that produces the pollen. Since plants don’t move they have to find a way to get the pollen to the female part of the plant. Some plants rely on the wind to carry their pollen. Some rely on rain or water to splash the pollen where it needs to go. The most popular method is by insects though. Insects, like bees, will stop by on a flower and when they do this the pollen sticks to their legs and is transported to the female part of a flower.
