How does a Submersible Pump Work?

Submersible pumps are used for pumping produced fluids to surface. A variety of mechanical seals are used to help prevent the fluids being pumped from entering the motor and causing a short circuit. A submersible pump can be connected to a pipe, flexible hose or lowered down guide rails. To sum it all up it’s basically a waterproof pump that can underwater without shorting out. It uses an impeller to move the water.
