How does a Dc to AC Power Inverter Work?

A simple ac to dc inverter works like this. An astable circuit creates a low voltage signal which is then passed to an amplifier. The amplifier does exactly that, it builds the power to its highest point. It then passes to a filter which takes out all of the ‘noise’ and then to a transformer. The transformer changes the initial type in this case (DC) into usable AC electricity.
