How does a Blower Work?

A blower is basically a turbine driven from directly from the engines crank shaft. The blower intakes air, compresses it and forces it under high pressure into the engine. The result is a very large increase in power. Because a blower forces large amounts of air into the engine the amount of fuel entering the blower must be increased as well to maintain proper air to fuel ratio. As a result an engine equipped with a blower uses a large amount of fuel.
